The presidential candidate of the white awning urged the head of the party to give way to the generation of relief.

Deeply concerned about the internal differences that today affect Acción Democrácita's presidential candidacy, Leomagno Flores, honorary president of this historic Venezuelan political party,
he sent a message to the national secretary general, Bernabé Gutierrez, urging him to step aside to make way for the replacement generation.

"Bernabé, you and I are septuagenarians, I would like to call on you today to make together as institutional leaders of the party, a gesture of detachment that allows people to understand that we are above our personal ambitions and believe more in the best interest of the party and of the Homeland," the adeco leader said in a television interview.

After the announcement by political leaders of the white awning to stand in the internal elections for the presidential candidacy, Flores stressed that it is necessary to retire and make way for new generations. "We are both going to withdraw from the race for the presidential candidacy, because our candidacies from the point of view of our age does not say much to the country, what we are doing is hindering the new generations," he stressed.

The political leader with a long history in the People's Party stressed that it is time to show citizens on the street a good image of AD and its leadership, considering that Venezuelans are tired of fighting.

Finally, Flores recognized that sectarianism must be put aside, think about the country it needs, since political change is urgently needed, which must be assumed by new generations.
