In a recent Instagram comment, singer and songwriter Liya confirmed that she has parted ways with Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). Liya, the singer behind the hit song “Melo,” recently answered questions from her fans on Instagram.

When one fan asked if she was still signed to Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), Liya replied: “Nopee, But #30bg for lifee.”

Her departure from DMW marks the end of a three-year partnership that saw her release her debut single, “Melo,” and collaborate with other artists on the label, such as Mayorkun and Davido himself.

It is unclear why Liya decided to leave DMW but her departure from DMW comes as a surprise to many, as she had been with the label since 2019. However, the singer has not revealed any details about the reasons for her departure.
