“If something teaches us, it is that we should never trust ourselves, that we must be on permanent alert, watching over the sovereignty of the Homeland, watching over the peace of the Homeland, watching over the independence of Venezuela, always caring for and protecting our people, taking care of our lakes and our seas. The Caribbean façade, the Atlantic façade”, he stressed.

He emphasized to the military components: "Our Bolivarian National Armed Forces, stand guard, permanent alert, vigilance and protection to guarantee the stability, territorial integrity and peace of the Republic", while inviting them to draw "great lessons from the great history of the Homeland that Venezuela has, and that our deep America and our Great Homeland have".

The national dignitary revealed that he had shared messages with officials and told them that "the Homeland will never be lost in our hands," while taking an oath with those present.
