Ahead of the Spanish national soccer team's first match since winning the women's World Cup last month, Spanish stars Alexia Putellas and Irene Paredes denounced "systemic discrimination" during a press conference with reporters on Thursday. "We have been demanding that we be heard for a long time because we detected, or already knew, that for many decades, too many, there was systemic discrimination against the women's team," said Putellas, a two-time winner of the Women's Ballon d'Or, according to Reuters.

 

 

Tomé said this Thursday that she does not feel that the players do not support her. "As you know, I have been in this position for a short time," Tomé said. "I'm confident...
