PP JuKuzai
In mid-2021 AMD introduced FidelityFX Super Resolution with a first version based on the Lanczos algorithm. In its second version it went from being a spatial rescaling to a temporal one. We had the opportunity to test its version 2.2 in the titles F1 22 and The Callisto Protocol. FSR 2 modified the algorithm and began to take into account motion vector information, as well as depth and color data. It is a more refined process that takes into account the previous frame to generate the next one and that in version 2.2 received an improvement to alleviate ghosting. With RDNA 3, or in other words the Radeon RX 7000, AMD has introduced the Hyper-RX that combines RSR, Anti-Lag and AMD Radeon Boost with Fluid Motion Frames. Anti-Lag+ has also been added exclusively for this latest generation to synchronize the frame rate and reduce latency, present in the following titles.
