A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail is showing off a major teaser for the first Amphoreus update to the popular Divergent Universe game mode. The launch of the newest world within the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG has brought fans plenty to do between its extensive story, new characters, and numerous quality-of-life updates. The debut of the update saw the release of one of the game's most highly-anticipated characters in The Herta, while HoYoverse has teased numerous new cast members from Amphoreus. Now, new images are teasing an update to a fan-favorite game mode.

First introduced during the Version 2.3 update, the Divergent Universe takes a major spin on Honkai: Star Rail's beloved Simulated Universe, introducing new mechanics and twists. The introduction of Weighted Curios encourages players to adjust their party on the fly to take advantage of powerful buffs, while Equations guide players to pick up Blessings from certain Paths. The game mode also lends itself to newer players, boosting characters up to max level and providing stronger Light Cones and Relics. The game mode is now set to see a big change with an upcoming patch.

[Honkai: Star Rail Leak Shows New Divergent Universe]

A new batch of leaks shared by prominent Honkai: Star Rail leaker KazusaLeaks is showing off the user interface for the new Divergent Universe. The leaked images show off the markedly different appearance of the Divergent Universe's menus, swapping the Penacony-themed gold aesthetics for a mix of blue and gold with an antique feel. The leak shows the new "Titan's Vision" system, featuring special buffs for characters with "Early" and "Late" effects. The name for the new Star Rail Divergent Universe cycle is also confirmed, revealed to be "Hero of a Thousand Faces."

Honkai: Star Rail's next big Divergent Universe update is just one of several exciting changes planned to come to the game with its next patch. Version 3.1 is rumored to boast multiple events centered around Amphoreus, with "The Awoo Firm" as a potential new game mode and "Holy City Appraisals" as a limited-time event. The update is also expected to see the return of the "Realm of the Strange" Relic event and new cycles for Apocalyptic Shadow and Pure Fiction. Honkai: Star Rail's Version 3.1 is scheduled to launch on February 25.

Version 3.0 saw plenty of major changes to Honkai: Star Rail beyond the introduction of its new world and story. Version 3.0 saw the newest iteration of Honkai: Star Rail's "triple rerun banner" with players able to pick up their choice of Lingsha, Robin, and Jade alongside The Herta. The update also introduced new resources for helping players to optimize Relics, with Variable Dice rerolling substat upgrades and Wishful Resin assigning specific substats.
