[Anime]Sailor Moon's Biggest 'Rival' Magical Girl Anime Gets High-End International Jewelry Release for 25th Anniversary

Cardcaptor Sakura is one of the most popular magical girl anime and manga franchises of all time -- in the West especially, almost on par with the likes of shows in the same genre like Sailor Moon -- and it's celebrating a major birthday in 2025. Now, fans can do the same and get blinged up with some equally magical jewelry.

U-Treasure is releasing a new series of Cardcaptor Sakura jewelry that's perfect for fans who grew up with the original show or manga. Based on the various items used in the anime series, these items are available in two colors. Available to order now, the jewelry items can also be seen on display at physical stores over 20 years after the source material ended.

As part of a collaboration with and celebration for CLAMP's Cardcaptor Sakura series, U-Treasure is releasing a collection that includes six necklaces and two rings. One of these is a cameo necklace that represents the Sealing Key from the "Clow Card" arc of Cardcaptor Sakura, with the necklace adorned with pearls. It comes in silver 925 (with a rose gold coating) or simply in rose gold; the former costs approximately US$210, while the latter is more expensive at ~US$350. There are also four necklace options that are based on the magic circle, with the aesthetic derived from the series' Clow Cards. These fall between ~US$189-$350, with each price point corresponding to the aforementioned metal options. The Star Key motif necklaces are similar, although the silver version of these is around US$210.

Besides the necklaces, U-Treasure's Cardcaptor Sakura series also includes two types of rings. These are the flight motif and pearl rings, with these costing roughly US$140 and US$350 in both options. The items are now available for sale until Feb. 24th, 2025, either online through the U-Treasure website or the physical U-Treasure Concept Store in Ikebukuro. The WorldShipping service allows fans across the world to order the items, putting them on the necks and ring fingers of Cardcaptor Sakura enthusiasts in most countries. U-Treasure's jewelry series is part of a major anniversary project for the franchise, with the anime adaptation of the manga beginning its run in 1998. This means that the true 25th anniversary of the Cardcaptor Sakura series was in 2023, but 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of both the show and the manga coming to an end.
