Lhouaoui said the Casablanca shipyard will help Morocco maintain and repair its military vessels locally.

Bidders will be allowed to propose a ship-building component during the tender process.

 

“It’s a niche activity which bidders can totally propose. We want to replicate the car industry story,” he told the news agency.
