According to SteamDB, Spider-Man: Miles Morales saw a concurrent player count on Steam reach 13,000 players, making the launch considerably tepid. It's also the third-lowest launch on Steam for a PlayStation game, coming in above Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Sackboy: A Big Adventure. When Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered launched for PC earlier this year, it had more than 66,000 concurrent players on Steam. As for the story... After the events of Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, teenager Miles Morales begins to coexist in his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as the new Spider-Man. But when a vicious power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the ambitious hero realizes that with the great power he possesses, comes a great responsibility to save all of Marvel's New York. Miles must take on the mantle of Spider-Man and set things right. The game offers a variety of customizable graphics quality setting options, most notably 4K quality and unlimited frame rate, and support for other technologies including NVIDIA DLSS 3 and NVIDIA DLSS 2 performance boost, NVIDIA DLAA picture quality optimization, and NVIDIA Reflex latency reduction.
