SnO
As usual, any AAA game during the first week of its release, such as Dead Island 2, which was released a few days ago, also now leads the weekly game sales in the United Kingdom. This week is a little different in its sales but not because of the games mentioned, but rather because there are three brand new spots on the list. Dead Island 2 not only topped the UK weekly sales chart but had the third biggest UK launch of the year, behind Hogwarts Legacy and Resident Evil 4 Remake. Minecraft Legends comes in second place for the first time, as the game's sales success depends on the Nintendo Switch platform, which accounted for 76% of total sales on the platform, while 19% of sales came on PlayStation and 5% on Xbox. It should be noted that the game, like all first-party games from Microsoft, is available on Game Pass, which will affect sales of the game on Xbox and PC in particular. There are titles we used to see on the list like FIFA 23 and Hogwarts Legacy that had the best launch this year, and we have Advance Wars 1+2 in third place. You can take a look at the list below to see the top 10 best selling games of the past week.
