Fonseca: He graduated from the Gimnasio Campestre school in Bogotá. In 2002 he published his album Fonseca, which had a great reception in Colombia, due to its mix of cheerful and somewhat folkloric rhythms. His next musical proposal, Corazón, was released in 2005 by EMI Music Colombia. Among the songs that made up the album is Te mando flores, which became his first international hit and remained for more than 22 consecutive weeks in the #1 position on the radio. It was followed by other singles such as Hace tiempo and Cómo me mira.

 

Juan Luis Guerra: With a career spanning more than 35 years, he has sold more than 30 million records123 and won numerous awards, including 27 Latin Grammys, two U.S. Grammys and eleven Latin Billboard Awards; he was honored as a BMI Icon at the 13th Annual BMI Latin Awards, named BMI's 1995 Latin Composer of the Year, Guerra's compositions have won 14 BMI Latin Awards.
