6 African teams have secured their place in the 2024 African Cup of Nations, along with Côte d'Ivoire, whose country will host the upcoming tournament.

3 Arab teams from the top of the continent have reserved their seats in the African wedding, while the rest of the Arab teams are waiting to qualify, in the last two rounds of the qualifiers, in June and next September.

Arab teams awaiting qualification

 

Egypt: Needs one point from two upcoming matches against Guinea and Ethiopia to qualify.
Comoros: You need a victory in two matches against Zambia and Lesotho, provided that Zambia defeats the opponent in two matches as well.
Sudan: In second place behind Gabon by a point, it has a fateful match against third-placed Mauritania.
Mauritania: in third place, a point away from the second Sudan. The match between the two teams will be a play-off for qualification.
Libya: slim chance. It has to win two matches against Equatorial Guinea and Botswana, and lose Equatorial Guinea in two matches as well.

Date of the Nations of Africa

The tournament will take place between January and February 2024 in Côte d'Ivoire.
