Today, tomorrow (Tuesday), February 22, Saudi Arabia will celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the first Saudi state in the middle of the year 1139 AH, corresponding to February of the year 1727 AD, at the hands of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, based on the honorable royal order, out of pride in the firm roots of the state, and the connection of its citizens. Close to its leaders since the founding of the first Saudi state more than three centuries ago, its capital is Diriyah, and its constitution is the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of His Messenger until the present time.

And the people of Saudi Arabia are proud of this great historical legacy that was founded by Imam Muhammad bin Saud, in a vast country that drew a rich record of the events of the social, political, economic and cultural life that the people of the Arabian Peninsula lived at that time under the rule of the first Saudi state, passing through the rule of Imam Turki bin Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Saud, In the second Saudi state until King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al-Faisal, in the year 1319 AH (1902 AD) to establish the third Saudi state and unify it under the name “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” His sons, kings after him, followed his approach in promoting the building and unity of this state until the auspicious era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

And the memory of the founding day is an opportunity to recall the memory of three centuries ago since the founding of the Saudi state, and the events and stances it carried immortalized in history books and biographies, and its features emerged throughout the Arabian Peninsula, as it was not a state born of a spontaneous moment, but was formed over centuries and consolidated the foundations of the cohesive state that established Governance and made the security of society at the forefront of its concerns with the service of the Two Holy Mosques and the achievement of well-being for society amidst many challenges, but the depth and strength of national cohesion was, thanks to God Almighty, a reason for the succession of the Saudi state from 1727 AD until the present time, and repelling any external aggression or attempt to disrupt the social fabric in the state Saudi Arabia, to continue its successes until the auspicious era, despite the difficult circumstances it went through in the past.

On this occasion, the cities of Saudi Arabia will witness the establishment of a number of cultural, artistic and popular events that soar in the sky of creativity, love and loyalty, embodying the depth of this great history left to us by the leaders of this country and their men until the present time in paintings expressing the seasons of time that this country went through in times of prosperity and adversity. During it, it remained steadfast and proud, preserving its authentic Arab identity, renewing the concept of national unity in every stage of building the first Saudi state, then the second, until the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which cohesion remained a prominent title for the glorious relationship between the people and the wise leadership, and everyone will be informed of the details of the great history of their country. In which the pillars of building society were laid in light of continuous stability and prosperity over the centuries, and it will remain, God willing, immortal with its components for the present and future generations.
