The Assassin's Creed series is one of Ubisoft's biggest ongoing titles to date, and it's seen a lot of growth over the years, and it's clear that it's not going away anytime soon. In fact, the company plans to expand the chain significantly, aiming to increase the number of people working on the chain by a whopping 40%.

The same was confirmed by CEO Yves Guillemot during the company's recent earnings call. Guillemot says the expansion will happen "over the coming years" as part of a realignment of resources at Ubisoft. The company currently has more than 2,000 people working on the Assassin's Creed series across several studios.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Currently, Ubisoft has six Assassin's Creed titles confirmed to be in development. The closest thing to a launch, of course, is Assassin's Creed Mirage, and the long-awaited gameplay reveal is likely at Ubisoft's Forward Showcase next month, although reports have claimed that the game has internally been pushed back until October. The mobile game Assassin's Creed Codename Jade is in development, as well as a Nexus title for VR headsets and a standalone multiplayer game, Invictus.

According to leaks earlier this year, in addition to the aforementioned titles, Ubisoft has other games in various stages of production that it hasn't publicly talked about yet: Project Nebula and Project Raid, which are collaborative titles alongside Project Echoes, which is also a standalone team game.
